The Detroit Free Press and the Freep Film Festival present “A Conversation on Making a Murderer” with Dean Strang and Jerry Buting, March 19 at the Royal Oak Music Theatre.

The event is hosted by Detroit Free Press reporter Katrease Stafford and focuses on two of the most compelling figures in the hit Netflix documentary series Making A Murderer. Attorneys Dean Strang and Jerry Buting will participate in a moderated discussion regarding the operations of the criminal justice system, as well as the broader implications of the Steven Avery case.
