04 Jan Beyond ‘Flint Town’

The acclaimed new Netflix documentary series has been heralded for its nuanced and detailed look at the troubled city of Flint, particularly its behind-the-scenes access with the Flint Police Department. A five-star review in London’s the Guardian called it “brutal, unflinching, real (and) so rich it’s almost impossible to binge.” In this special program, the “Flint Town” directors – Zackary Canepari, Jessica Dimmock and Drea Cooper – will be on hand for an in-depth discussion that will be intertwined with a screening of an episode. The conversation will be moderated by Anna Clark, journalist and author of the forthcoming book “The Poisoned City: Flint’s Water and the American Urban Tragedy.”
