Metro Detroit native Lisa Klein directed this film that follows suicide attempt survivor Dese'Rae Stagewho is on a mission to find fellow survivors and document their stories. Stage discovers a national community rising to transform personal struggles into action, and creates a project called LiveThroughThis.org, which explores life on the other side of suicide through the stories of attempt survivors  using their own words and Stage’s portraits. Attempt survivors and others who’ve been affected by suicide are portrayed in all the complexity, pain and even humor of their experiencesUnrated; adult themes.

After the films: On Saturday, Kate Hardy, CEO of President Six Feet Over/Suck It! Suicide, talks to director Lisa Klein; producer and cinematographer Doug Blush; Jen James, survivor and founding supervisor of Crisis Text Line; and Amelia Lehto, resource and crisis hotline coordinator at Common Ground in Pontiac. On Sunday, a conversation with Blush and Lehto.
