“Ignore the Noise” tells the story of how the Detroit riverfront was transformed from an industrial, blighted wasteland into a national award-winning and beloved waterfront. The story is told from the perspective of individuals who played prominent roles in the incredible riverfront transformation over the last two decades.

After the film: On Sunday, veteran Detroit journalist John Gallagher talks to director Jim Toscano; Matt Cullen, chairman of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy board of directors; and Mark Wallace, president and CEO of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
